The health and safety of everyone – our team members and our customers are absolutely crucial in these changeable and uncertain times.
We’ve set up strict new guidelines that we are working within and, at this point, our staff can visit a customer worksite as long as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) directives and personal safety is maintained.
All our label production, packaging, automation and freight deliveries meets all the government’s COVID-19 regulations for health and safety. Here’s just some of the protocols we’re already practicing;
Our team members are social distancing and maintaining personal space guidelines
Our sales and administration teams have all been working from home since mid-March
Our office phones and emails have been rerouted to home work spaces
Label print production teams have been split into round the clock teams with shift isolation for team members during change overs
Our head office in Albury is under strict PPE guidelines with regular and thorough cleaning of all contact surfaces
Current guidelines for safe personal working space allow our warehouse staff to work segregated from other staff and guidelines are constantly monitored
Our technical service support crew are still working to support our essential industry. For the safety of everyone -both our team and yours, our technical service team will
Call before visiting the site for approval to enter to make sure it’s okay with Workplace Health and Safety guidelines and changing COVID-19 directives
Help with setting up a log book to write down any equipment issues and allow for social distancing and safe minimal contact between our team and yours
Have an agreed isolated spot available to leave any ancillary equipment like cassettes, bellows or other gear to be removed from the site
Maintain personal space of 4×4 meters to comply with government COVID-19 guidelines
If training for operators or others is needed it will be completed using full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gloves, mask and eye protection. Personal space guidelines will be observed in accordance with the government COVID-19 regulations
Phone to update you personally on any changes to your service schedule that may apply to the changing COVID-19 directives
When visiting your site our team will
Sanitise their hands before going onsite and wear protective gloves
Call your site contact on arrival to check it is still ok to enter
Use our own pens to sign in and comply with your site entry conditions
Go directly to the equipment being serviced, check the log book and perform the service requested
Do a basic routine check on the frame and sign your log book as jobs are completed
Phone the customer site contact to confirm what work has been completed
We will sign the Field Service Report on your behalf and send it to you via email
After signing out of the site, protective gloves and any other protective equipment will be isolated and disposed of under our COVID-19 guidelines
Isolate any equipment and tools used for service after each visit and clean them according to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines
Our team members will look after their own personal safety and, under our workplace health and safety guidelines, if they are uncomfortable with a customer site or situation, they are instructed by our General Manager, Michael Williams, to leave and move to safety.
In this constantly changing situation, communication is critical to getting through this time together. We’ll continue to support our customers and our industry and drive value and deliver more.
