J-Tech printing Production Assistant Justin McFarland has been nominated for the FPLMA (Flexible Packaging and Label Manufacturing Association) Apprentice of the Year Award for 2021.

The award criteria is exacting and Justin has had to demonstrate a high skill level and competence across all aspects of the trade, plus, he’s had to maintain high academic levels across the course work and show a keen interest in the flexographic and label printing process.

This award programme is highly regarded in the industry and by the training colleges. This year the winner receives a trip to the United States with airfares and accommodation, the opportunity to attend the FFTA (Flexographic Technical Association) Forum and Print Awards on behalf of the FPLMA, plus they will visit manufacturing sites while in the States.
